Ok I can get the car to idle. On my MAFT I have the base set at 4 and the idle at 7. If I move either of those from those positions the car dies. As soon as I give the car gas it chokes and sputters. I can't give it gas, if I feather it up the car it fights me, and I get mini backfires. There is a clicking noise coming from a solinoid on the firewall. I am attaching a picture.

I did a full leak check, spraying carb cleaner at all the joints and no change in RPMS.

I have my sparkplug wires #4 going to the farthest left, #3 to the farthest right, #2 to the second to the right, and #1 second to the left.

Could it be fuel? I have put in a new walbro 255, fuel filter, and the Denzo 650 injectors.

I checked all my vac lines, and did another leak check on my IC pipes. Nothing. The car is hard to start, turns over for a long time, finally catches, sputters and dies, try again, idle kicks up to 2k then comes down and idles at 800 or so. As soon as I give it gas it chokes and dies.

Does anyone have any ideas? I could really use some help on this one, a directions, what to test, how to test it. Did anyone else have any probs with their walbro 255, mounting in their gas tank? Is there any way to check if I am getting enough fuel?

I am still not getting any boost. It goes from -25vac to 0, but no boost, could that be why I am not able to give it any gas?

Explain what ya are saying about those spark plug cables. then engine is numbered from the cam gears in order 1,2,3,4. The coils are set so that 1 and 4 are on the same coil and 2 and 3 are on the same coil.

I idle just fine, after a couple minutes of trying to start, then it idles. It varies a little, if I tap the gas then the EGR stops clicking. The tube that comes off the lower side of the charcoal cannister is unplugged, due to the fact that I no longer have any intake assembly. Would that make the EGR click? Should I plug that up, or leave it vent?

As for the spark plugs yes that is how I have it wired, 1 & 4 on the passenger side fire pack, and 2 & 3 on the driver side. When I try to give the car gas and I am feathering the throttle the fire packs click. This is the first time that the car has been started sense all the mods where done. Everything was just done at once, from stock to where I am now.

I am buying a pocket logger as we speak and should have it this week. Can anyone think of what would cause no throttle and no boost, but good idle and no CEL?

Just thought I would let everyone know what ended up being the problem. I thought it was kind of wierd when I got my Walbro 255 that it went in backwards, the filter pointed the wrong way and it just didn't fit just right. Even more so I didn't hear what everyone was saying about how loud the Walbro was. So I called my parts store, and they overnighted me a new fuel pump. This one went in perfect. Also I was missing a clip on one of my injectors. I don't think the clip had much to do with the overall problem, but needless to say, after 6 months of wrenching the Eclipse is on the road. I am going to take it easy for a week or so and try to get a reasonable break-in period then I will be off to the dyno.

Got to say though, I am only pushing 8lbs right now(have it turned way down), and it pulls really hard after 3k. I am not sure if anyone has ever heard the Apexi RACE BOV, but that thing sounds sick, like no other BOV I have ever heard. Does anyone know how to record a sound clip and put it on the computer? Anyway thanks for the help.
