after puttin in the exhuste (3 in all around with cat). it was pullin at first, unless my imagination, but now my car doens't have that umph it is suppoed to have, any possible fix it tips? could be timming? is my turbo dead, i boost 15, sometimes it creeps, but i think that is due the 3 in downpipe?

for tests, compression test, timming? anything else should be checked out?

it could be your imagination. Honestly, when i put on my 3inch it felt like it wasn't as fast as before. But then i noticed that i would be a high MPH alot faster than usual. It may be because the 3inch exhaust is ALOT smoother than the stock one. Or your turbo may be on dyin.

alright, you both are right, i can defanintly feel thelow end loss, and i do see the quicker rpm at high end, hey Andrew, how does this sound, the evo III turbo uprgrade along with fuel mang. (190 fuel, the 550 injectors, s-afc ver 2)
will that be fine with a 3in downpipe, or should i sell that, and invest in a 2.5 or something, i hear you can controll the boost better with a smaller down pipe

A 2.5 downpipe wont creep as much, but that can be cured with porting the turbo and upgrading the wastegate to a 34mm flapper. If you run a 3 in downpipe with all that done to the evo3 then you should be fine...oh I forgot port your o2 housing as well. If you [plan on keping it unported a 2.5 or 2.5 into 3 would work fine. Trust me when I say proting makes A big difference, with my mods the big16 g ported and clipped 10 degrees has killer top end(more than any other 16g and even better with the clipping) and suprisingly enough it spools about 200-300 rpms slower than the t25(t25 when stock). So its not even noticable at all, and its also linear and boosts totally different. Good luck:thumb:
Andrew

okay so with all the porting done, how hard is it to tune? i am pretty new to tunning, but i don't my car to run all wack, also, where do you get the upgraded wastegate, is that just like a replacement?

and how is this with smog? can you still pass, just put back stock parts? although i got 2 years, i jst got smoged, i failed the first time, not sure why, it said i had a lot of unburned fuel, so i just raised the idle, and i past, iunno if that means anything

Cali emmisons are really strict so is marylands but not as much. The flapper gets replaced at the vendor just loo for what options they offer. I would recomend going to a reputable shop that knows alot about dsm's to get it dyno tuned.
Andrew

alright, thanks for the help, i'll start my searching in finding a shop first
