Check Engine light = Stutter?

Hello i have a quick question? My cars check engine light comes on sometimes when i am cruising about 2...3K and then the car starts to feel funny like if i had a exuast gasket blown? but then i take the car out of gear? and let the RPMS drop and then i put it in gear and the cars feels normal again..... and the light stays on until i reset the C.E. light i have a full exuast system? i think its becuase of that but i wanted to see if anyone else has the same problem as me so if yo ucould give me your input that be great well thanks and take it easy on that DSM! hahah

have you checked what code you are throwing.. is it a multiple miss fire

No i am about go to autozone to see if they can pull the code? i dont think its misfires? bec it would do it all the time? would it not if it was a misfire? its only sometimes ? but thanks for thehelp i am going to see i i can pull the code? right now my car is running good execpt for a few things!

It might be the Crank sensor going out, it happened to me. it shuts off the injectors randomly making the car studder.

Its there anyway to check it if its still good? and is it hard to remove i am ging to do some seraching to see what i find thanks for the tips

Cam Angle Sensor will do the same thing. I've dealt with that a few times.

i was wonder if it could be bec of my BOV i have type S but its not being resuccurlated does anyone else have this probelm that had a type s? thanks and hope to get some answers i am tired of reseteing my cehck engine light??!!!!!!!!!

Mine has multiple misfires. I'm experiencing almost teh same problem but only at high RPM's(4k-5k). I've replaced the wires and plugs, check the coils and both are good. Replaced fuel filter and had compression done. All good across the board, and I'm still having the same problem. Any suggestions?

i'm getting the same problem now in my car...sometimes when cruising in 5th gear, car starts to sputter...i then have to take it out of gear, and put it back in gear and then it'd be ok fer a while...the thing is it happens randomly...my CEL is always on...havent looked at what they are though...

I am still haven the same problem as we speak ! just like you! the stutter is comes and goes!! til i have i reset the C.E light then it goes alway til i hit 3.5 k at low speeds?? i was reading something about how it could be my BOV? since idont have a reserculation setup? with my intake and BOV? well i want to find the problem bec i hate driving around with my CE light on! makes the car feel like a BUCKET!! hahah? well tell me if you fix your problem! let me know thanks Juice

i have a hks bov venting to atmosphere, had bov for 2 years now, but this problem just started...so has nothing to do with bov...i used to run a greddy bov also venting to atmosphere without this problem...
