16g problem

I just installed 16g and it spools fine to 14psi where I have the mbc set but there is no power. Anyone have an opinion of what is wrong. thanks
 
v8killerr1, read my post on your other thread "boost on a 16g." Have you logged any 3rd gear pulls yet. My best guess is that you're max timing is around 16deg at the top of 3rd, which isn't great. When I 1st installed a 16g w/ a fuel pump it didn't feel as fast as the t25 because the t25 spools quick and has good torque if you have it spike to 17psi. IMO you're probably still faster than you were, but at your mod and boost level it probably feels pretty relaxed. You won't realize the power potential of a 16g until injectors, fuel control, and an fmic are added. There's no way around that.

BTW what are your egt's at 7000rpm 3rd gear? That info would help to see if it's running ok.
