Got a problem.

The other day when i was driving my 1g the check engine light came on out of no where. So when i got home i let it sit for a while thinking it might have been too hot or something, i don't know. But now it won't idle hardly at all, it reves up like the choke is on then instead of staying up there to warm up alittle, or what ever, it just goes down to like 100 rpms and dies within the next 5 seconds. I just replaced the throttle body gaskets because i had a leak there last time. but now i don't know what it is, i am thinking i need to clean the injectors, but would that make my check engine light come on?

Your best bet is to first find out what triggered the CEL.

yes i know, i guess i kind-of forgot to ask what you people think would cause the CEL to come on. It runs fine when i am actually driving it.
