hey guys, i just had a couple of questions regarding my car leak. Its like leaking a little bit of oil at the bottom.... not very big... but i decided to get it checked out. and they guy said that my cam sensor, and some valve was leaking. He might also suspect that the head gasket might be leaking too. How much should the job be to fix the leaks? i mean i dont want to get riped off so i come to you guys for advise. I know that the head gasket is a big job.. umm any feed back would be helpful. thx guys for reading.

sounds like bs to me

a valve is leaking? your cam sensor is leaking? sounds like he randomly chose a part and said its leaking

if your headgasket was blown you would know it, youd be having more problems then a little oil leak

take it to someone else and have them look at it first

Ok so i talked to this guy i used to know in school and he said that he could replace the cam sensor and valve cover for 200 bucks flat. is that a pretty good deal? i mean i took the car to a near by mechinic and he said 410. What do you guys think?

your question is a little vauge, you need to tell us what side of the engine the oil is leaking from, if it is you cam angle sensor that is on the left jsut for reference, if you cant figue it out take it to a mechanic that has worked on several DSM's before not just a ordinary mechaninc can work on these cars they always seem to mess something up.
