ecu question????

need to know if most ecu's are compatible or if i connect an ecu with different p/n and s/n numbers than my original ecu, WILL IT STILL WORK???? i dont want to take the risk in purchasing another ecu if its not going to work. And if it is compatible what is the difference??

any 2gnt from a 97-99 will fit and workin your car

BUT

if you have an auto you need an auto ECU, if you have a 5 speed you need a 5 speed ECU
