Need help tuning Devils Own meth inj

To start off I've got my on psi at 3 and my full at 17. 3rd gear pulls were looking good so I decided to granny shift into 4th and bam, got some knock. I'm thinking it's because the pump takes that split second to prime and begin injecting since it's running off of the 3.3 bar map sensor. Anybody got any suggestions? Should I adjust my on/full settings? Btw I'm running straight VP M1 methanol.
