So in the process of my motor build i was pulling the motor apart and in the process found am ACT2600 pressure plate and a stock clutch disc whith really loose springs. Now i have a New fidanza flywheel and ACT street disc to throw in. The thing is the pressure plate looks somewhat new but has some hot spots, and was wondering if i could re use it with the new clutch? The previous owner said he rebuild the tranny, so if it might only be 10k miles old or so. heres some pictures..

If the PP friction surface is flat with each other then yes you can reuse it. If it is warped in any way then no as it wont release properly.
This PP below is bad as it is warped. The edges are bowed up.
considering the amount of money you have already spent on the fidanza flywheel and clutch disc it would be insane to reuse it. you would so regret it in the long run!!!!!!
I agree with david Its a PITA to take the trans and all out and put it back in it would be a shame to do it twice just to try to save a few bucks. My motto is do it right the first time but thats just my .02 cents
