I'm trying to run down some CEL's. Hopefully there's an electronic guru on here that can make things easy for us dummies. If it wasn't for spell check, I couldn't even spell electronics.

According to all the searches I've done, my problem is either in the sensor ground on the ecu, the plug from the MAF, or wiring from the MAF to the ECU.

Can anyone go step by step telling me where to put the black probe, where the red probe goes, what reading I should be getting, what settings should be on the voltmeter, etc. I want to check the plug for the MAF, the wiring to the ECU, and the ECU itself

I really hate to take it to the stealership but I've checked and replaced all the sensors and still get screwy readings on my logger, not to mention CEL's that will clear but come right back within a couple of minutes.
