Rock a holset.

I had one on a ford focus and much to my own surprise for how big it was it spooled up much quicker then you would think. Not to mention the damn thing can make god awful amounts of boost, they are cheap and easy to rebuild, and they are usually had pretty cheap for what they are.

Not to mention the flange is a t3/t4 can't remember which one so it will fit most any aftermarket manifold.

Like the other guy said if you want to make big power especially on FWD lag can be a great help to you on the streets as it will let you get going before all hell breaks loose on your tires.

I ran 15lbs of boost before my for focus bit the dust hard, and when i took it to the track i ran a 12.5.

I made 301hp and 297tq. Which compared to stock was AMAZING. And the turbo itself had ALOT let in it.

Add to the fact your spending 3k in fuel and 4k in the motor for a forged setup. It IMHO would be the best bang for the buck and give you your goal and then some if you decide to get greedy.

Wow, you weren't even CLOSE to the compressor efficiency of that turbo and still put down some impressive numbers at the track.

You would've been better off with a turbo that was a little closer to it's peak at 15psi....something like a Small 16G. It would've shaved some of the spool time off as well, making the car more fun to drive on the street.

Was this done on stock internals?
