Ignition key release button stuck!
Wednesday was probably the worst day of last week; first I lose my little chip for the starter cut and then when I managed to recover it, the key refused to turn in the ignition.
It appears that the little release button that you press to get the key out once it's in the Lock position is permanently pressed down; I managed to get it to pop back out after some judicious hammer work (and drive it back home), but the trick hasn't worked since then. It's funny because I've owned this car for over a year and its NEVER done this. Has anyone run into this problem before?
