Official Introduction Thread
Let me first say WELCOME to the site! The purpose of this thread is to prevent 2,000 other "Hi, I'm new here" threads.
If you feel the need to introduce yourself to the community, please do so ONLY in this thread. Just hit reply and say hello. Also, make sure that you have your profile completely filled out so we can get to know you better.
And for everyone else, please don't fill up the whole thread with welcome messages. I'm sure they know they're welcome here.
Just to let you know, we'll probably delete all other intro threads that pop up in order to keep things clean.

sorry i posted this in a separate post..so here is my info and i'll delete the other one if i can.
My name's Dave and I'm a returning DSMer. I had previously owned a 91 GSX that remained stock until it was wrecked, then I went onto a 92 Laser 16v NT auto. For the past 2-3 years I've been driving around a 2000 Mustang on lease. With the lease up thi sjuly I decided to get back into DSM's in order to save money on a car payment, and have a cheap, fast car to play with. I recently picked up a black, with silver ground effects 1990 Talon Tsi AWD that I found in Massachusetts off the DSM Trader. It is modded with such goodies as:
Full race ported and clipped 14b turbo
2g ported exh. manifold
2g ported o2 piping
dejon tool upper and lower intercooler piping
dejon tool sidemount upgraded intercooler
ported turbo flapper
crushed 1g BOV
ported and polished 1g heads with 3 angle valve job
buschur racing 2.5" mandrel bent downpipe
buschur racing 2.5" high flow cat
buschur racing 2.5" mandrel bent catback exhaust
hallman manual boost controller running 17-20psi(depending on my mood)
act 2100 clutch
buschur racing high flow fuel pump
EProm ECU
removed balance shafts
now onto suspension:
KYB AGX adjustable shocks and struts
Suspension Techniques lowering springs
stereo:
Kenwood Execelon cd deck
Soundstream 5.1 component system up front
Alpine two-way 6.5" cone speakers in back
PPI 6600 6 channel amp
JL Audio sub
currently the 2nd gear synchro is gone in the tranny(big surprise there), so I'm having to find a place for it rebuilt at. Luckily, I know LarryD from his Celica days and Nc.org, so I was referred to Hess Power. I've already emailed the guy and am waiting on his response.
Other info..
I'm a junior in college at Hampden-Sydney in VA. I'm a Political Science Major with Pre-Law intent. I love to discuss american politics, so please don't mind me too much.
Well, glad to be a member here, and look forward to meeting some of ya sometime.

Hi, My name's Alan. I'm 20 & live in Temple,TX. This is the first time I've actually introduced myself here even though I've been with the site since Oct. 02. I'm known mostly as DSMTuners official riceboy & I'm also the dude who's not too picky in what he'd roll in. My future plans car-wise are as follows; I'm keeping my GS for two more years. After that I'm going to pay her off & buy a WS6, a dream car of mine for some time now. As far as future plans in my life I hope to become a car designer.
Peace.
*edit* Since some others have mentioned their sign, I'm a Scorpio.

Hello, my name is John.
I'm an aqurius, I enjoy candle lit dinners, long walks at the beach, and deep, meanfull talks...
Heh seriously, I am 19, I do all of my automotive work. Right now I am currently in the process of switching my newly 91 turbo laser from auto to standard, just need some cash for the clutch. Before I bought the 91 laser, I had a 90 1.8 laser. Heh and i'll defend any 1.8l bashings

hi, I'm Ivan, I own a 1990 GS turbo FWD, and love that car, I must say that it was very hard to me to find one of this completely stock, and in good shape, But I finally got it, and recently I replaced the whole valvetrain and timing belts, pulleys, camgears etc, Hope to see some good times this summer...
Greetings...!
