Hi.
I'm Greg. I've hung out on these forums for a while reading random tech articles on occasion and decided it would be better to join to access more.
I drive a 96 tsi awd and have built a 90 tsi awd, 97 tsi awd, 97 rs turbo, and 98 tsi awd. So, I might be a newbie here, but not with busting knuckles on dsm's

Howdy folks. Name is Ben, widely known on the web as Phempa.
Recently sold my sweet 1991 Accord with JDM H22a and goodies, and bought this ugly piece.
But it's turbo. And it's AWD. And it's got A/C. Three thing I'm not used to and like VERY much.
I've already got a lot of good info from this site, and am just starting to perform the MUCH needed maintenance my 92 GSX.
It needs quite a bit of exterior work, as it's been sitting in the Arizona sun for months.
If anyone's in Tucson, would love to meet up sometime and get some pointers on DSM tuning!
Only one photo of the ride at the moment. Pretty HDR shot with my Nikon D40.
Future plans for the vehicle only include getting it running as good as new for the time being.
Cheers!!!

I think you should ask does it run? Whats wrong that you have seen or felt? If something is wrong with it would you have enough money to get it fixed or replaced? Anyways welcome to the site.

Hey just thought I would say HI and introduce my self. This is my 3rd ish DSM. I started off with a buddys 91TSI then moved back home from college and bought a 95TSI blew the motor trans ect . Now im driving a 92GSX. I just picked it up a couple weeks a go so the car is pretty much stock. Its getting full 3inch next week . I have a home made MBC sitting in front of me but see no need to hook it up yet. The car is boosting 13psi right now.. and yes that is with a good boost gauge . I am not going to really do anything to the car untill I can get some maintence done. New CVS timing belt and the works. after that, it is game on ... This is just my daily driver car. So no I dont want to run 10's I have another car for that... I just want a low 13sec car that still gets 20+ mpg. Ohh im from Oregon too.. So hi!!

I figure I should get this out of the way, even though I have a number of posts already.
My name is Kevin. I live in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I'm the original owner of a 1997 Eclipse GS-T Spyder. There are no real mods to speak of on it, but I plan to change that in short order. I finally have the money and the time to work on my car. I'm going to do it right from the beginning with quality parts, and some help from my friends here at DSMTuners.
There's tons of information here and I'm really grateful for all the experts in the field that have helped me so much already to the point where I really don't have any big questions yet. Well, I do, but I haven't gotten to that point yet in my build - this site has helped me in many ways to think 10 steps ahead.
Basically, the idea is a 4G64 bottom end and a 1G 4G63 head. I've already got the bottom end built, and I'm waiting for some extra time to tear the 1G head off and send it to my shop. The details are all in my blog.
Thanks for all you do here. You're a great resource. I'll post more pics and info in my blog when I hit 50 posts.
