hell, fellow dsm'ers ive been a member for a lil bit now, never posted because all i did was search. but now that i finaly got my car, i can start becoming more of a member. I just bought a clean, 1 person owned, 1999 mitsubishi eclipse gsx. Its all good except for the oil leak and idle surge...thats all. ithe only "modifications" it has are teh motegi wheels and eibach springs, otherwise its all stock.

hi everyone..

i just bought a 1990 Plymouth Laser RS Turbo.. all it has is a K&N filter and Magnaflow muffler.. other things such as better valve seals but i cant remember all of them.. this is THE FASTEST car i have ever driven.. it is awesome, as i cannot get any traction through 2nd, at only half throttle.. pics will here tomorow..

whats up fellow dsm lovers! new to the site just figured this would be a good first post. Just bought a white 1991 Talon TSI AWD auto for 2600 with new stock turbo and timing belt replacement with 151,000 miles with minimal rust. Runs great and I am very happy with it Just as a side note I also have a 1994 Plymouth Duster 6g72 five speed (although not known as a dsm it still is)

i just wanted to say hi to everyone on the forum. i am new here but not to the dsm world. this is my second project for myself as far as dsm goes. i have a 92 1.8, i know it is the worst choice but i have plans. i got the car for a couple of hundred and it ran great so i jumped on it. i am planning to take a 4g63 and all the wiring and such and do a swap. i have all the necessary items, and know all about the dos and don'ts of it. i am planning for some major horsepower so i will be on here a lot. like i said this isn't my first dsm. the first car i ever bought was a 91 gsx, i got it for $900.00. it was a steal, all it needed was brakes, tires, and 2 injectors. a friend convinced me to go ahead and build it, so we took the time and money and did everything right, except checking the rear gears. well about 9 months after building it the rear end locked up and screwed up everything in between. i hope this build goes better and doesnt take as long. well that is my story, i know you all think i am stupid for the 1.8 thing but if i had pictures of the car then you would all change your minds.

Apparently, Columbia, SC is not a good target market to sell a modified DSM. So I thought I would try on the boards here. I found out that I have to wait 30 days and post 50 times before I can sell it though so this is the first one.

Hey guys my name is Chris. I've been lurking on here for a few months now. I'm kind of new to the DSM world again (it's been 5 years since I owned a 91 GSX), but I'm a pretty big EcoTec guru. Anyways I'm in Morgantown, WV and run a shop called Tony's Street Dreamz. We do pretty much everything including tint, wheels and tires of all kinds, graphics, performance, suspension, vertical doors, interiors, alarms/remote starters, big time car audio and video and nav systems, custom systems/fiberglass work, pretty much everything. Except paint and body work. We do everything from Cavaliers to Lamborghinis, no joke. I am currently doing a FULL restoration of a 1990 TSi and turning it into an all out street/strip/track car. Feel free to ask away on the 12-volt side of things, it's my specialty.

Wow I just read the last few pages on this thread and I'm kind of intemidated. Most of you on here have GT-S and turbo powered cars. But I will go ahead and introduce myself and my car. I actualy just bought it today. I own a 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, picked it up for $2950, and traded my 87 MK1 in on it. I have a lot to do to my GS the person who owned it last riced it out by painting the interior and the paint has bubbled and is pealing off. Also they hit something because the front bumper is FUBAR as with the right front fender. But the lot I bought the car from ordered the new bumper cover and fender and are delivering everything to me Monday. So far I love the car I have always wanted one but never had the money for one until I found this one. So far the only things I have found wrong with it my moonroof will not close all the way and will not open all the way. It just seems to get stuck, my CEL is on so I need to figure out what that is, and I need to replace the center consol, and I'm needing the side marker for the left side of the front bumper. I'll post more in another thread since this is the intro forum .

Hey, I hope to be a new DSM owner soon but had some questions before I buy and hope you all could help me out. I found a galant VR-4 sitting in someone's driveway just driving around the other day and I'm thinking of asking If the owner wants to sell. I'm almost positive that he has no idea what it is so I should be able to get it for a steal. Alright here come the questions, First, how much are these worth? The one I'm looking at seems to be in decent condition for being an early 90's import (probably 6 out of 10 overall). Second how much power can you get out of these until you start having tranny, diff, axel issues? And third, how do I make it run 10's?
