Hey - My names James and I drive a '93 Maxima SE. I am looking at maybe getting a DSM because my car is feeling slower and slower every day (too much time driving girlfriends WS6). I am here to learn about the GSX specifically - so if you guys have any info a newbie should know off the bat let me know. I'm most likely just going to lurk for awhile. If anyone knows of any 97+ GSXs that are for sale (i have already checked the classified) let me know.
My goal is basically to get a sports car in the price range of 8 to 12 grand. I don't like domestics much, although I have a few friends with LS1s that sometimes make me think otherwise. Once I obtain a new car my goal will be to make it faster than my girls!

Hey, my name is James. I’m from Atlanta, Ga., but I moved to Mobile, Al. a few years ago. I’ve been a DSM’er since 1998. My first was a 1990 Talon TSi AWD that ran a 13.5. I now have a 95 TSi FWD with an auto that’s either going to get sold and replaced with a VR-4 Galant or have a 5-sp conversion done to it. My goal is mid 12's using a t3/t4. I’m a college student, and do ALL my own work on my car (except alignments). I’ll do any work on a DSM as long as I’ve got a shop manual or a VFAQ.
Mobile, AL is a beautiful city, and I’ve got some pics of my car at:

Remember, you're a DSM'er, so make sure to keep the parts department on your speed dial!

Hi! I'm Joe, 28 years old. I stumbled on this site while serching the world wide web for a website that provides tuning guides for the SAFC.
I'm from a South East Asia country called Malaysia.
I drive a 1994 "Proton Wira" (which is a clone of the JDM CN9A Mistubishi Lancer )
When I bought it mid of last year, It was a daily driven worn down SOHC 4G92 Auto slush-box tranny.
Now, Its a turbo charged Manual tranny weekend fun car.
My next project is to swap my OE 4G92 for a JDM Mitsubishi Galant VR4 4G63 engine with Stand alone EMS and NOS.
You guys have a great and informative site about DSM . Keep up the good work.
Ok Thanks all!!

Hi,
New to the forum, I'm transplanting a 4G63 into a 1974 Matra Bagheera (mid-engine French car, three seats across) No emissions, sub 2000lbs, shooting for 400hp, should be fun.

Hi
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Paul from Chicago IL, I have a 96 GS that I plan to make a project car. I've done a couple other including a 94 Supercharged Civic, and a 91 Jeep Wrangler offroad. Just looking for tips and some advice on this new project. Also Im having a problem with my GS already that I hope can be fixed quickly. Im getting the Check engine light on my dash and when I got it checked it showd a error code of P1390. Any suggestions on what this is?
Thanks
Paul

New to the crew...
Hello, My name is Andy, I am 24 and I live in Mobile, AL.
I have owned a 1986 Toyota Celica that I built up and could set the cruise control at 110mph...loved it...wrecked it...claimed it on insurance.
Next project was a 1967 Camaro V8 327 w/ AT PowerGlide 2 speed. I loved this car! Restored it 75% and sold it for profit. Still debating if that was a mistake!
I just purchased my first DSM a week ago: 1996 Eclipse RS, 5spd. So far I am in love with this car and am hoping to learn alot from you more experienced folk!
Andy
PS. No pics yet...coming soon
