Just to clue everyone in, I did a 14b swap over the New Years holiday. To simplify matters and since I don't have an mbc, I have been running wastegate boost, around 9 on my p.o.s. ebay boost gauge. Now since I have a 3" dejon intake, it has provided for some clearance issues to my boost source, the nipple is literally 1/4 inch or so away from my 3/2" reducing coupler. I have heard to free up space I could bend the nipple toward the radiator, making it a more straight shot, but I am a little hesitant on how to do this, any advice or tips? I noticed my boost gauge was spikin over the 20 max on my gauge while driving home from work, after checking with a flashlight, I noticed the hose was cracked right by where the nipple starts. So I'm walkin til I get this problem fixed. Any other suggestions? My profile is accurate to date, by the way. Thanks for any advice. I gave the hose a slight tug when checking the crack, it broke in half. Here is a pic of the bottom of the intake and the wastegate nipple. Pics not the greatest, sorry!
