I have been doing nothing but research for the last three weeks on this site and quite a bit of spending recently and I need some review from smarter people than me on things I may have overlooked. I have a 94 awd tsi talon, all of my current mods are in my profile. I have just purchased 550cc injectors, walbro 255 high pressure fuel pump, a data logger, a dejon tool uicp with the maf blow through and welded flange for the hks ssqv bov & an hks ssqv bov. The next things on my list are the fpr, still looking for a used one on this site, the 3" gm maf and a maft, those I also want used. That was all i was hoping to need to effectively tune my car and getting it running good and dependable. I'm not looking for a 10 second car but I'm looking for strong power and being able to take a 1200 mile road trip which I will be doing in a few months to relocate from Louisiana to Colorado. My question basically is with these things, is there anything I've overlooked to be able to run this car with these parts. example: You need a maft to run a gm maf ... such things like that. I have done hours and hours of research on everything I've bought so far and I have a second car so all these parts that I'm putting on are not being run until I have everything I need. Sorry for the ramble but some input would be much appreciated I'm really trying to learn. Thank you, Adam

Honestly, with the setup you want to run, I'd scratch the MAF and MAFT for now and invest in a way to tune your larger injectors and what not. You have several options available to you.

A) Apexi SAFC II. With this you'll be able to tune, but it'll require dyno time and the like.

B) dsmchips.com keydiver chip. With this you won't require a dyno, but will have to have an eeprom ecu.

Either of those on 550's is okay, but I'd recommend the chip because if you ever upgrade in the future, it's 20 bucks to have a new one burned for the new components you upgrade versus having to go back to the dyno.

The Problem is there's no dyno down here, AWD Dyno that is. I really understood the translator to be able to tune as well as the safc II. But I just got my logger in today and I'm going to spend some time trying to figure that thing out.

So I've been trying to find an eprom ecu and I've found a few here and there but I want to make sure im buying the right one. What model do I need for my 94 turbo awd talon? Also My coolant light is on in my car but I just put a new radiator in so I know that it's a bad sensor but honestly I have no idea where that sensor is, could someone tell me before that light affects my vision?
