LOL 14b ...ported

any thoughts on how much boost i will be able to run? any other mods that i need for this setup to work properly (DONT SAY BIGGER TURBO or DSMLINK!)?

my goals are anywhere from 280-350whp :thumb: . not sure where i want to stop....

just wanted some input so i can consider some suggestions and change my plans ahead of time...thanx :dsm: :talon: :laser:

That will get you to the low side of your goal. Probably closer to 300. Hard to gauge these things though. Best thing to do it go through the bragging rights and see what people with 14b's are putting down on the dyno. I know with a few simple mods people are putting their 1g AWD's into the 12's.

well i have some of the stuff that i listed, but i will have to buy most, which will come out to be $1k(not counting any drivetrain and transmission upgrades!!!). trying to get the whole motor rebuilt, which is gonna be around $1.5k:barf: . if i didnt have to blow all this money on the rebuild, i would definitely upgrade that damn 14b.

cant imagine how fast that little 14b will spool! :thumb:

My turbo is most efficent at 23lbs. I highly recommend it. I can hit 21 psi on pump at around 3200rpm. Probably as fast if not faster than a high boosting 14b.

Go there and look at there T28 with the 60mm exhaust wheel. Rated for 340hp. Like I said before the 14b will get you some pretty nice numbers. You can boost it past 18psi but won't be the most efficent.

Little less. At 26psi I was flowing the same lbs/minute as a EVO III 16g at 24psi.

i was interested in bb 50 trim, but i doubt that will happen...

anyone one else have any suggestions?
