I had my car dynoed yesterday. We tuned it for 19psi, but it has a spike up to 23psi. A/F is 11.1. The car has a b16g, fmic, 550s, etc. When I pulled it off the dyno to leave the shop around 2,000 rpm I heard what sounded like loud lifter tap. I returned to the shop and they also thought that it was a lifter. The car idles fine also. So I thought I could make it home as long as I took it real slow. About 10 miles away the car bucked a little and I immediately put into the emergency lane. Called the shop and had it towed back. They don't know what it is exactly until Monday when they get time to look at it. If it was a bad lifter or valve could this cause other engine damage with me trying to limp it home?
