RRE Oil Line relocation, Is there any other Line like this?Need ASAP!
I was going to get the oil line that goes from the turbo to the oil filter housing, But RRE does not except paypal. I have money in my paypal account and need to order this as soon as I find a site that has it and accepts paypal. If you know where I can get one, Please reply to my post.
The bolt in my head went in alittle on an angle and is not leaking little spurts of oil
Thanks in advance.

-You can make a similar purpose hose with brass hose part found at your local performance super store, aka HomeDepot.

What about the end fittings? And crush washers also? How much do you think it would cost? RRE sells it for $55.00 + shipping

-I think it was ~$15 in parts, crush washers can be found at most auto part store for $.99 each or so, hose clamps, about 3 ft of hose, I install a small oil cooler (over kill) on that line, hose barbs, you need to have a tap and die set to cut the thread. On the turbo's end(pic #1), I cut the OEM line about 3" from the banjo, cut thread on it, then tap thread (same size) on the inside of the hose barb, screw the shortie banjo into the hose barb with teflon tape, pic #2 is self explantory. this has been on my car for 4 yrs now, no leak yet.

i stripped the factory feed line from the head of my engine and i used one of those allenwrench hole plugs (all over the block, order from mitsu dealer) and just covered it with jb weld and threaded it in...head hasnt leaked since..
also...if im not mistaken...doesnt the 2g kit reach the oil filter housing for a 1g?
slowboy accepts only paypal online: http://slowboyracing.com/Mitsubishi%..._oil_feed.html
its 24" you should definetly measure first....but i think itll reach.

So, You have the exact line for my 92tsi fwd? I just do not want to order the line and it be a bit to small or have the wrong fitting to the oil filter housing. If you have the right one, I'll be ordering it as soon as I get the money from my bank account back into paypal
Thanks alot.

Do you have the original oil line? If so, why do you need the SS line? Also, be careful, I had the RRE SS oil line and it was too thick where the banjo bolt goes through, and I ended up stripping the head (which you must have done, since your leaking oil).
No matter what line you use, if you stripped the threading in the head, you're going to leak oil. I went through several lines and banjo bolts, and even rethreaded the head, and still leaked oil. I finally had to use silicone around the banjo bolt after it was installed.
Save your time and money and just use the original oil feed line, banjo bolt and crush washers and slap a little silicone around that sucker!

So, where is the oil leaking from? What are you using to block the head?

It is leaking from the head, But I put some sealent on there for now so it dont leak. It is also leaking from the turbo, The banjo bold around it. Maybe the crush washer are bad, But i'm just going to order the ss line from sbr. I am going to throw out the stock line, And put just a regular bolt into the head so it does not leak oil.

oil line
I got mine from Forced Performance. Be forewarned the fitting that goes into the oil filter housing will look like it's cross threaded as it goes in at quite an angle. Don;t throw the stock line away. I could iuse it if it's still good. mark
