I would be game. I missed the NESS cruise this year on July 26th. did you happen catch that event?
On another note, would anybody be up for a cookout in Clear Lake on September 27th? This would be a prelude to Hot Import Nights. Clear Lake is 1 1/2 hour north of Ames but it is on I35 on the way to Minneapolis. I am guessin you guys who are going to HIN would not mind breaking up the 3 1/2 to 4 hour drive with some food and checking out some cool cars. I am just trying to gauge whether there would be any interest or not.
Let me know.

Not up in IC anymore, I'm cruising the streets of Ames these days.
On a side note, my valve stem seals have officially left the f'ing building. If anybody needs to borrow that f'ing $300 tool to replace 30 f'ing dollars worth of seals, let me know. Loan it out for $10 a day.

its an automatic then? you need a new tcu? or a manual tranny swap?
j/k
BTW, i would consider the cheap ebay headers if you are looking for a decent fix. there aren't that many drawbacks for putting an ss autochrome header on a non-turbo engine. i rock one on my civic!

ok, the tcu is the transmission control unit. its the specific box that controls the transmission. i don't know much about the specific inner workings of an auto car, but i would assume that if a 20+ year old car won't shift right, it might be the tranny computer.
if you want to try one for cheap, i can pull one from the junkyard next time i go (which should be soon)
that reminds me . . .
To Everyone: If anyone needs a 3" gm maf, i picked up 6 at the junkyard on saturday. i will let them go for $10 a piece to dsm guys. ($10 a piece is what i paid for them. i am doing this for your convenience, not for profit) Email me or catch me at a meeting/event.

Does anybody have a clean, straight, zero rust hatch for a 90-94 with spoiler holes they'd be willing to sell? Color doesn't matter, doesn't need glass, wiper motor or anything.
