You need a helmet and fire jacket if you have an aftermarket turbo. They don't check for insurance, you sign a waiver. It's 20 to race.

Forecast is calling for 40% chance rain/storms between 6 and 8pm.
KCIR did say they would raincheck everyone if they have to close early. If they get 1/2 way through the session then no raincheck.
I'm planning on being there between 530-6pm.

Ok.. I returned to the place of shame last night. I was not happy with my first visit at KCIR. A boost leak on the way to the track caused me to be stuck at my waste gates spring rate for boost, which is ass unless you are running a T25.
I got my problems fixed for the event, finally dialed it in a for almost a full 22 psi, a little more adjustment is needed. One factor which played a big roll in my times last night was my laptop barely holds a charge, I could only log 5 runs and would have to hurry at tuning after words to save power, I could not really study a log which means, small tweaks between runs.
My frist run was not recorded, it was vs David ( I hope I got his name right ) Evo. David got his best 60' of the night, which, if he would have done so later in the night during my 4th run, which was against him, he would have had finally gotten his 12's.
My first run was with no real tune. I made 3 passes the day prior after filling up with E-85, they were more dialing in boost than anything though I did make a few timing changes and that was it.
I did have some traction issues, I forgot to setup my antilag and left the line on my first run with 18.5 psi off the line, needless to say, I roasted the shit out of my tires. I was having traction issues all night as the temps went down so I was doing a whole lot of setting up and I think I have my setup finished so I am looking forward to 11's next time I go to the track, in 2 or 3 weeks. On my final run, had I not spun so bad off the line, I would have had my 11's. That a 11.9 MPH right there.
Previous best 1.77 60' : 12.62 @ 113.23

I just got fired yesterday so I can't go to the track because of money reasons obviously. Now the job hunt begins.

I hear ya bro. I am racing on Unemployment myself so I know the pain. I have yet to find a single job that pays as much as my unemployment which is proving to be a problem because if I dont make at least that much, I will need to get rid of something and F my credit but the truck will be the first thing to go.

Very nice work man. Way to redeem your dsms name.
How did the ethanol work out for you. You said you made those runs on e-70 right? And it was holding 21psi ok?

The E-85 is working out pretty good, the only problem I am having right now is I am running out of injectors and thats with FIC 950's. I think I will need to be upgrading already and I barely have 400 miles on these brand new injectors. It was holding pressure fine.
11's will be in my future next week if I go, without a doubt. I am also predicting 120mph traps. I looked at my log from the V8 and noticed quite a few driver errors that I have not done in a LONG time. I really wish I could control the spin off the line, even with the lower boost its been happening so the antilag is getting lowered some to see if that helps.
1st gear: massive spin, I had to let off the gas so I was never full in it in 1st gear, lost a ton of initial speed.
2nd gear: short shifted myself, shifted at 6800 rpms instead of rapping it out at 7500 like I normally do, more time lost, explains why I was so far behind him for so long.
3rd gear: Short shifted myself again, this time at 7200 which isnt nearly as bad as 2nd but thats 300 rpms of full power which means, lower RPM's in the following gear and more buildup.
4th gear: barely had any of it this run, battery on laptop was dying, it showed me in 4th gear for almost a full second and then it doesnt show anything race wise, previous race I was in 4th gear for 3 seconds so it looks like had I done a better job of driving I would have totally decimated my time that I had got.

It's Dennis, you were close though.
Ya my first run was my best launch and if I hadn't missed second gear I would of made it into the 12's. Even with missing 2nd, I ran a 13.2
I need to get a better tune for the track. I'm still running way to rich.
Also need to up the rev limiter for my launch. Bogging at the line is just killing me.

Sorry bro, I am bad with names, good with faces and cars hehe. This one chick I dated a while back, took me a month to learn her name because I kept forgetting it, she was hot too, I think it kind of pissed her off and secretly turned her on because the hot chick was forgettable :P
I might be going down Friday as the temp looks good so far.
79° | 65°
M/Cloudy
I looked at my final log for the night today, had I did a few things differently, I would have been in the 11's yesterday.

Well. I went 12.36 @ 119.60 on a mere 20 psi. Stupid boost controller wouldn't let me turn it up.
I wanted 11's. But stock tires. Stock tranz. Make the launch and 1-2 shift very terrible.

Nice run.
I'm hoping to get back out in a couple weeks.
I have an aftermarket boost gauge I need to install, I'm maxing out the stock one, and some shift bushings to help my quick shifts out. Oh ya, and drain and refill my radiator. My temps are running to high because of the mixture, too much antifreeze/very little water, causing my car to run rich.
Then maybe, if I don't drive like a grandma, maybe get into the 12's.
How about it EE? When's your next time out?

Hey Jason how is the car doing? I am going to need a new clutch for mine before I can take it and run man.. Sucks, but when I do get out I am pretty sure 12's are in my future with this setup..

I have my Waterpump and head gasket on the way as well as the gt3582r on its way. Should hopefully have the car up and running not this weekend but next.
Still need to buy a fire jacket ( unless I can convince them the turbo is stock like I did my 20g HAHA ).
Also got some parts ordered to get my 95 GST up and running again as well. I have a ton of car work ahead of me.
97 GSX
Water pump
head gasket
turbo swap
95 GST
Pull engine and clean it up to look like new
Clean engine bay
pull steering rack and replace.
