Different ECU, different firmware. I'm not going to spoon feed you information via visitor messages. If you can't find answers to your questions by searching, post in the technical forums like everyone else.
ok so since i dont see it on the fuel rail its gonna be under the back seat... ok another question... y does the 95 models not need a missing link ok fcd??? i wanna know in detail instead of just sayin, oh cause they r the special one...
thats it!!! lol... ok so from what i remember (like i said my car is down and i havent seen it in a month, long story...) it looks a lot like the last one on the bottom cause the rail doesnt have anythin attached on the passenger side of it... just driver where the fuel filter hose connects to it... so im guessin the fpr is somewhere close to it???
gotta question with my car and fmu... im bout to get one and im in a puzzled spot... its a 95 eclipse which the fpr should be on the fuel rail right..... nope... nowhere to be found.... the motor has been rebuilt b4 me and i gotta feelin someone put a 98 fuel rail on it what to do??? i seen u have some how to's and some pics of how to do install it and im tryin to find em again but i guess it would be easier to ask lol... thanks
Well im on cell so no computer, so posting links is kinda a pain. I do have a build thread in the forums and i also been placing pics in my profile. As far as hood clearence I am not using a pt cruiser intake, the intake runnners for those run over the valve cover. Every thing that i have been using has been srt so far. Their was a post in my thread of a guy selling his swap, and what he did was to mate the srt engine to the 420a trans. Since my srt is a 04, im upping the stakes and using the srt trans. Stonger than the 420a trans and a factory lsd.
The parts that I will be using.
1 complete engine and trans
2 speedo cluster
3 shifter
4 wiring harness from bumper to bumper
5 stearing collum
6 ac condensor, radiator and fans, intercooler
7 inner axels and cv joints
I now have a talon tsi parts car,and looks like i will be using the front suspension crossmember, so as to have clearance for the exaughst.
I think the 420a facts about engine swaps needs to be updated. The srt4 engine and trans will fit the engine bay of a 2, and the hood does not need to be cut to fit.
My bad that was an accident. I had 5 windows opened and I would copy threads to my wordpad(by pasting them). I accidently pasted it there. I just realised to day that I done that. I erased and changed it. Mi Mal
Thats what i said but i dont know about having a good engine anymore i took it to a mechanic and he thinks its probably a ring or two...because of the oil coming out he breather filter an smoke coming out the oil cap...what do you think?
