    question: u posted in regards to a crank "Could you describe how it's "hard" to turn over by hand? Does it get progressively hard to turn, and then easy again? " what does that say about the engine?

This is my custom v-band o2/downpipe for the Holset's non-wastegated 12cm^2 turbine housing. I performed all the cutting and fitting, taped it together, then took it to my local welder to finish the job. Boy does he do good work Not the funnest part of the build, but, I am very proud of this piece. It definitely took many hours to get the fitment perfect, and worth every effort.

To quench this 2.3's thirst for E85, I picked up a set of FIC high-Z 1680cc injectors. The idle on these should be near stock!



My hx35 oil drain setup is shown here. I fitted a pipe to a drain flange, had an EMT conduit sweep welded to the oil pan, and connected them both with Vibrant high-temp...

After 3-4 years of driving around with an aging stock 2.0L with less than stellar compression numbers, I finally gathered up the time, funds, and materials to tackle a rebuild. I wanted torque, lots of it, and this is how it came together:

The idea of this build is a very quick spooling turbo with a big emphasis on low-end torque, with a suspension setup that picks up some of the slack left by the understeering stock setup. I plan to take this to autocross events and the drag strip maybe once every two weeks but its duties will be mainly as a summer daily driver. To keep this car fun on the streets, low-end torque and decent cornering...
