and you dont tint the center piece usually. 99.99% of people powdercoat it. They will smoke them if anything. Not a problem guy.

Tell him 1K Is the absolute lowest you can go. It may be the HG. But, you never know. Piston rings take alot of abuse, and Not unless you redline the car ALOT, I think theyre still good.

I put it on the classifieds on here and some guy that lives about 2 hours away is interested. said could be good starter car for his son. i have it for 1500 on here so hopefully i get at least like 1200 that would be perfect

Well, they can pick up a 420A Engine for like 200.
I sold mine that needed a HG for 75.

well, It is a good price, but, The Kelly Blue book is about right with what hes asking, in that condition.
Just try your best to get him down. Maybe 1800. But get prepared to hate these cars, and somehow love them at the same time.

The guy wants 2000. and the car needs body work but not much. i told my dad what you said he going to call the guy and tell him he concerned about it. and hopefully the guy drops price. he kept saying 2000 firm tho

It is probably a boost leak, or a shot turbo housing.(Meaning it could be cracked.)
If it still has the side mount intercooler, all you can really do with out actually testing for leaks, it loosen all rubber pipes to the turbo, and push them on all the way, and tighten them. How much is this car?

Hmm, the T-25 turbo is reliable, he must have been running high boost.
But just take care of this.
