Last year's shootout was my first time racing at the Shootout and I couldn't believe the excitement I encountered lol Good time at the car show, camped with the Michigan Gang at the Milan Travel Park lol and had some awesome racing at Norwalk! Here are some videos of my runs, the last video speaks for itself, You will see why.

So my first time racing my newly built talon, and racing on the strip in general was at the 2nd Annual IndyHP Streetcar Shootout July 5th, 2009. I had a blast!!! My best run of the day was a 13.1 @ 107. I didn't win obviously but had a great time and a great experience. Here are some video links of my car from the day!

June 6th, 2009. Club DSM Fort Wayne had our first annual club dyno day. After a mad rush to get the car ready for the dyno, we made the trip to Toledo to see Keith at Pure Tuning. Great guy btw, really knows his stuff. Their Mustang 1100 AWD Dyno is not very old but we sure broke it in lol The tune was horrible when we got there, it couldn't even make a baseline run because of it lol The first baseline...

I am trying to think back on some of this stuff so bare with me lol It took about a year (Fall of 08 now) with my restricted budget to get all the parts I needed to start building the engine and the bolt ons. It was the night of October 17, 2007, in a little town about an hour away. A friend of a friend and I worked out a deal on his 91 Talon TSi AWD 5-spd. The car had been sitting at his parent's barn for almost a year and the guy before him haggered the car for two years.
