Hello, I just joined up and wanted to share a link to my site with your community. I built a site with viewable or downloadable shop manuals for 1g, 2g, 300gt, and Galants all free. I make no profit from this; I didn't know where I should post the link so I am contacting you. The site is fastdsms.webs.com Thank you

i appreciate this site. i am trying to build a decent machine. but i am not a mechanic and i have a nt car that is plenty for my drive to work. i would pay for valuable information. i got the comment that i should not be here because im not a hard core dsmer. i want a nice car that works good and i think there sould be money in that and make those offering thier good advice happier because they might get twenty bucks for something they already know and maybe even found out through a pain in the ass and might like to help some one out even more if they got twenty bucks or more for it? even like i have this part for you? can i post asking for a part or suggested parts? and they contact me that would be sufficient. i have seen the cherries that people have spent 30000 on and are now selling for like ten for some one to not take care of even though that car has taken a lot of time and money to build. it is not a classified if anyone can view it!

Are you trying to replace a broken wheel stud or replace your stock studs with longer ones for easier wheel removal/installation at the track? If you have a 1G with ABS, be prepared for a lot of work. The ABS system on these cars uses a small trigger wheel gear that acts as a speed sensor. This gear blocks access to the wheel studs and forces you to remove the hub if you want to get them.

For added suspension adjustment, I chose to go with RRE camber plates with the added caster angle. It meant that I had to do some grinding on the shock tower opening and the Greddy strut tower mount. I tried to keep it as clean as possible and repainted the strut tower mount when I was done.

It's a really good feeling getting all of the bugs worked out of a car. This was the first time I've been to an event in 3 years where the car ran really strong the whole time and had absolutely no issues (or nearly no issues). And the result was the fastest lap time of the weekend among all cars.

Of course getting ready for the event was a different story. I...

June 13-15 2008

After having missed the first two NASA events of the season in the Rocky Mountain region, I finally got the car ready to go for this one. Miller is truly a world class track, only 3 years young and I wasn't about to miss the opportunity to drive it this year. I missed the only other RM NASA event there 2 years ago. I rounded up the family and we made the 10 hour haul...
