K&N Filter, 3" Exhaust with HF Cat. SBR Manifold, Tail 38mm 02 housing, s16g, HKS EVC at 10, 15 and 24 psi. EVO I FMIC with homemade piping, 8.5mm ignition wires. BPR7ES (0.28 gap)

Engine Management:
Data logger, Boost gauge, AEM EUGO WB 02 sensor, EGT gauge, full sweep electric fuel pressure (cabin mounted)

Engine Internals:
ARP head studs, MLS Head Gasket.

Drivetrain Modifications:
ACT 2600, SS clutch line, rebuilt pedal assembly, ACT StreetLite Flywheel

Suspension Modifications:
Back on stockers and all-seasons

It was recommended that I tell the story of my mudded talon on my blog, I never quite thought about it. But it is a pretty good story.

I got the word that I will be going out the wire a few days in advance. This was not this first time I was told I was going. But this is the first time I got orders in my hand. I spent the night before preparing myself and my equipment. I was taking time to put everything together.

It's been a while since I wrote; pretty much because absolutely nothing has happened. Things almost happen, but I always get kicked from the spot. Not because I'm not ready mentally, but because the mission requires a person of a different expertise.

However, recently a requirement has come down for a volunteer. The time and objective of the mission is classified, so I can't divulge...

I landed in Bagram AFB early into the night. We worked late into the darkness unloading the C-17 and getting things setup. My time clock is so jacked up I have no idea what time it is, but it has to be early the next morning. I crash in my little bee hut and sometime in the morning I am awaken by an alarm clock. I asked my hut mates what time it is. One of them replies 6 AM. I grab my towel and shower...
