Halloween was great- a little cold....I think Halloween night it was 38* here; I had two parties to attend on two different nights. Definitely exhausting! Now it's back to work- I have a couple turbos to rebuild tonight, and I'm in the process of assembling my FWD's engine as well. Fun stuff! What's new with you?

Heyyyyy hows it going? I thought I'd stop by and say hi. How was your halloween?
-
Definitely not as often as I'd like. I think it was Memorial Day weekend the last time I really went for a good rip.
Do you have any bikes?
-
Wow sounds like you had an awesome child hood, I'm definitely jealous! How often do you ride now?
-
Travis always had tons of personality, that's for sure. I used to stand by his mom at rider's meetings so I could copy her race order because I write too slow.
The biggest-name freestyle rider who I raced with locally is Dan Pastor. He and I literally started racing at the Westmoreland County Fairgrounds 1 week apart from each other. Back then we were both on Honda CR80's competing in the 80cc 12-13 class...I was #48 and he was #8.
Whenever I stepped up to a big bike, my first was a RM125 and I bought nothing but Suzukis from then until I quit racing. I still have my RM125 and 250 from the season I got hurt. I refuse to ride a 4-stroke....I HATE them, actually.
The ankle was my 9th break, and it was by far the worst. I spent nearly 6 months on my ass not being able to put weight on my left foot until it healed. But yes, if you race motocross there's a good chance you're going to get hurt!

Wow you raced with travis Pastrana, that's freakin awesome! He is so badass! Ya I bet it's a huge rush bein so close to the other racers. When I watch races I'm wow they get so close how do more of them not run into each other lol. That sucks you got hurt, most people that race do though right? What kind of bike did you race?
-
That's where the 141 in my name comes from....it was my racing number since 1995. I grew up racing with local guys who went pro like Branden Jesseman, Travis Pastrana, and Broc Hepler. I live three miles from Steel City Raceway in Delmont, which for years has been the last stop on the AMA National Circuit. Many Championships were won and lost there in that last race of the season!
I loved racing. If I could go back and do it again I wouldn't hesitate....but after I destroyed my ankle in '04 my bikes are now outdated and I'm horribly out of condition. It would take a whole year of serious commitment to get back into it, and I just don't have the time. I did meet some excellent people, and there's no feeling like flying 50' through the air six inches away from the guy you're competing with!

Ya I thought some people would like it, I love FMX, motocross period! :-) That's cool you use to race. I wish I could ride one good enought to race. It might happen one day lol. So that sucks way bad that you're so sick.

Hey I like that Avatar! I raced for 13 years- won a heap of trophies, but I never did anything as crazy as freestyle.
