hey i saw you wrote in a tech, that you have a 6bolt block with the 7 bolt head? i have the same on my 98gsx, it's complete it's in there, it will barely turn on, and it wont idle well. i keep getting crappp ass info from people who only know about he 6bolt (complete) swap. not the Frankenstein we both seem to have, well. let me know if you can help since you seem to be doing better than me..
yea its no big deal i guess lol i was pretty bummed out about it in the beginning but its all good now. i have a fully rebuilt 6 bolt that im about to throw in it just waiting on my wire harness and map sensor. and yea man that would be cool if u came up this way we can maybe go hit PIR? ill get pics of it up when its done or ill just text you them i guess lol take care tho man.
What up bro? Right on that cool you got it sold and picked up another dsm. Mine is down had a catastrophic failure on the oil sending unit on the freeway haha. Killing me but I'm working on putting it back together. Ended up destroying all the rod bearings and pretty much lost the rotating assembly. Block and head are good but it had a massive amount of bearing material in the the pan so its all new everything pretty much. Honestly thinking of doing a dsm grave yard crate motor and being done with it. Go pics of the new gsx? How much you trying to get rid of it for?
yo josh whats up its josh the one who bought your red talon. thanks i really dig it all besides the fact that it spuna dam rod bearing 5 weeks after buying it hahahah it is what it is. still havent got to rebuilding the motor yet still tryin to figure out exactly what i wanna do to it.
alright everyone i sold my talon but picked up another 98 eclipse gsx. it needed some work but thanks to john walker for the help, but i got it running today. now i am rocking 2 98 eclipse gsx's

hey everyone quick update, just did some minor swapping from the eclipse to the talon. the talon is running much smoother now. the eclipse started to blow its head gasket. so i caught it just in time. but yeah next year around june the eclipse should be back on the road just in time for the import race off at woodburn. wish me luck. i will be posting pics as i go. so check back.
Yeah man, been pretty well! I've seen you around town a few times, I believe it or not I'm pretty sure I saw you on my way to Portland on I5 a couple weeks ago? No much is new... still got a hood and bumper that needs paint. Had a girl for a while which meant $0 went to the clipse. How about you?

Hey I don't know where to get a front bumper cheap around here.....they are hard to find big time....and the back hatch cover no clue I'm lucky to have the one for my car
