Well the motor is just about tore down. Some things I noticed are:

1. Mains not tied together. E-mail sent to Kiggly racing about there mains girddle kit.

2. Should be able to use an aftermarket 6 bolt oil pan if I want to. The G4CP block I built, I had to use 97-98 Hyundai Sonata oil pump/oil pan ONLY.

3. Front case will need to be changed to a 6...

Pulled the Galant 2.4L, pretty straight forward. Basic hand tools a friend and a little swearing.

Nice thing I noticed, the knock sensor bung is already drilled and tapped.

Plan on putting Wiseco pistons in but I can not find any aftermarket head gaskets yet.

Going to get a 1987 Mitsu. Galant motor this weekend. $250.00 with myself/friend pulling it. Didn't think that was to bad of a price for a complete motor.

Should be a good winter project. Wife gave me a thumbs up(probably so I don't drive her nuts) for the project.

Will see how the 2.4 is for next year.
