just wondering if I do 6 bolt swap if I can use my 2g head and still retain all factory wiring and piping? can I just swap out the block from a 1g into my 98 gsx. I ask cause I think my 2g block just went through crankwalk and I hear the 1g 6 bolt didnt have that problem so I dont want to get rid of the car, and since i'm going to spend the money to fix it. or could i jus use all the internals from a 6bolt and just reuse my 2g block?

So, I've been out of the game a little while. Last August my fresh 6-bolt build spun a rod bearing . So since then, I've bought a daily, and have been focusing on school and work. But now I'm finally ordering the few parts I need to get her back running again and I'm real excited. Can't wait to feel a part of the community again, although it's not like I left...I'm always on the forums lurking...

Ill definitely buy a new one if I cant fix this one. I guess over time it got scrapped so much it was so thin and just buckled...
