so there is no pnp for the 420a?with the ms3,I def will need to find a shop that can tune it in NJ?Most of my buds and I are older generation wrench turners.That computer crap scares me.Ive only learned how to use my home PC for about 5 years now(sad ,I Know!)and I'm already 45!Is this gonna be to much for me to handle?It might be easier to squeeze in a LS block under the hood! I'm gonna do some searchin in my area for tunnin shops to see what I can come up with.thanx for the help
my goal is to turn my quick 420a into a fast 420a.I will also be ordering MS 2 and the right size injectors to make it all happen.But Id also like to keep it reliable for daily driving. Not sure if that sounds like I'm making much sense!I want to do away with the sfmu and go with the MS2 full standalone.Can that be done with reliability?Or is the portafueler a more reliable setup for every day use.I'm not looking to buy race cams or anything,Ijust want to start boosting to the next level
So the pics of your motor are not of a 420A?I spoke to you before about a shortblock that I'm looking to drop under my stock head.I still haven't received my settlement yet from my work accident,but when I get it, I will be ready to order.How much more money would it cost to do a 2.4 in my eclipse compared to buying a built 420a?Im serious about doin this,Im not some young kid just talkin crap,Im 45 and I just like to waste money(at least that's what my wife tells me)!Right now my bottom end and head is completely stock(92873 orig mile)Ive been boostin 8-9 psi for about 2 1/2 years now.I also been runnin the same ebay GSP turbo since 23,000 miles ago.Maybe Ive just been lucky!So I will be looking for a complete setup.Maybe I could just use the old head.Im still not sure what to use for a shortblock.can you send me some info on what you guys can build for me,so that when I get the $$$ I can order right away? any info you can send me would be a big help.
THe new age sleeper is a dsm with a bodykit, spoiler, carbonfiber hood, neon lights, fancy rims, window tint and decal will get people wanting to race you for money anywhere lol

thats how my initial builder set it up. but i found a better builder and when i get the new motor im having im make a stand alone for my car to control timing and fuel and everything else inbetween. but if you could advise how its supposed to be i will correct it lol.
we ended up going to eddyville i didnt get off work til late so i did not have time to drive up there next time somethings going on you should let me know
2nd time I think we were heading to benegins (sp) they have some car meet but mostly for old school cars on Wed night. He was driving then. BUT like I said i dont pay to close attention to cars. If ## close to me next time just honk yell or w/e to get my attention lol & it almost feels like ## stalking me lol
lol it was like 7ish, i think ## BF was driving.. u had been stopped at a light getting off 80, after you go under the bridge (so heading south on merle hay ).. im waived.. surprised u didn't see or hear me.. black car with no hood or front bumper and a big ass FMIC .. lol.. both times seen ya round the merle hay exit

Thats my buddies Focus. & then his friend (also a friend of mine) was racing it. But once I figured out how to launch my car at those lights I started gettin good reaction times
My bf raced that 4door purple single cam honda & the black ls 2door acura. All the other ones I raced. The last 2 races against the Focus was me =) & thats when I had my best launch of the night!
im very interested iin doin this could i get some sort of estimate an how long it would take from the day of ordering parts to the day i drive out of shop
