Well, I see my last entry was almost two years ago. It has come along way and over came many bumps in the road.
So, I drove the car for the first time in 18 months. It needs some tuning, but the car runs and idles. The build looks like this :
Rebulit head, Evo springs, valves and retainers, 264/272 cams, Ross forged pistons, scat rods, ACT 2600 clutch, fidanza lightened...

Well, because of space and money, I had to make a choice. The Evo or the project car. Well, I sold the Evo. The choice was simple..I got $20,000 for the Evo and I would have had to give the GSX away......
So, now I have money for the GSX. So far I have a new turbo ( Evo 16g) a new radiator ( mishomoto), a over bored throttlebody, Evo fuel injectors, a Evo IX fuel pump, and a freshly...

Well, I just got the car road worhty again. That was after replacing the trans ( Jack's Value stage rebuild) the transfer case ( Jack's rebuild) the front axles ( DSS upgraded) wheel bearings ( both). The car shifts smoothly and I won't really have any opinions on the trans until I can really drive the car....which will be a while.
As I was driving the car back, it threw the CEL....

Well, I got the "value" stage Jack's Transmisson build.....but not on the totally thrash core I sent. Mine was the worst they had ever seen ( Number 1 at something hooray!) The trans looks great....It looks brand new!!
So, I am going to install the new trans with a stock clutch and the rebuilt transfer case. I am going to fix a massive valve cover leak and then see where...

Well, the trans has a hole blown in it. I made arrangements to have it rebuilt at Jacks trans...and I take it out only to find a hole in the trans. 
I sent pics to Jack's and they said they could fix it... so off it goes. So far everything I thought was wrong has been worse than I thought. Oh well. At least i can play my I pod in the aux jack on the stock stereo...while...
