i don't actually own a m3 i have a 02 nissan altima, R6, and my gsx. and my avatar pic is exactly what m3 i wanna get when i graduate college..

but my dad did own an 04 M3 red for a while,

there amazing cars they out handle every car on the road period!!! straight line they do not pull to hard and performance parts and maintenance is outrageous on m3's. ex...oem break overhaul is almost 2k if you go after market breaks then you might be able to do it for 1,200 if you do all your work your self.

plus m3 need there valves adjusted twice a year which is about 600 bucks if you don't know how to do it, and its not easy...

if money isn't an issue then go for it, but if those coast scare you then its probably not the car for you right now.. :) hope that helps
