Hey, I was curious what is holding the 420a back from hitting the 1,000hp mark?..What is the weak link?.. And have you had to rebuild the motor since you made 661hp?

im wondering what timing belt u have and cam gears? and where did you get 'em? i have the same engine (420a) like yours but i can't find any timing belt that would fit my 420a motor... i don't want to buy just regular ones. ###### like greddy, hks, or gates brand? if they make timing belts for 420a motors.

What do you use to tune 420a's?....The one we got isn't anything crazy it will probably only make 180-200whp.

just got a 98 eclipse 420A stock engine automatic what would you recomened a 4G63 swap ### i wanna turbo the car or a 420 bulit i am in the delware valley so i am not sure how many places build engines and stuff but yeahhh i heard the 420 will blow because it can handle it i dont wanna go all out i just want a like boost that wont have me spending a hell of alot of money on a new engine

I've got v3 dsmlink my launch control is a 5750 and it builds 12psi I'm just worried about breaking cv shafts with the slicks not really worried because thats the cheapest thing to replace if anything does break!!
