Hey did you get those rods off ebay>
no sir, they are stock rods and pistons that come out of a G4CS
Yeah, that's the plan... if i can find one 6-bolt block for a cheap price. I'm going to be taking apart the block 7-bolt block and inspecting it, then deciding what i will do from there. But I really want to bore a 6-bolt block to 2.4 and do a Manley Forged Stroker Kit.
yes its an oem 64 crank, it was cut .020 also, has many low 11sec passes on it and over 15k mi with no problems. I set my endplay loose, around .007-009, and keep my oil sprayers, this helps the oil cool the crank. People who have broken them probrably set them up to stock specs which causes more friction.
sorry for the super late reply, but yeah my driveshaft did pop out of the transfercase. i was told its normal and i just pushed it all back together when i bolted the t-case back on. i have no issues with it now.
Using Link? Basically followed the global setting for e85 with my injectors. Then playing with the fuel table to get about 11.5-12.0 AFR making sure no knock also up the timing to about 17-18 deg. Also start with a good boost level and go up from there. I am at about 27psi maybe going to 29-30psi in the summer once I get my fuel filter and lines upgraded.
As for meth its good and maybe cheaper but make sure your meth container is always full, dont want to hit full boost on a tune with meth then there is no meth lol. Going to the meet tonight?
I'm addicted what can I say :p Plus I buy for friends off my account as well to make things easier. It's insane how much money you can put in these cars and still feel happy about it. Although mine not as extensively modded as yours. How are the Baer brakes holding up? I have a set I haven't installed yet.
i just thought bellevue was more in the middle of the pueget sound. Seems like equal distance between Tacoma and Marysville/Everett Area. I think its a fair location.
By installing a IAT sensor and MAP sensor, then calibrating the two sensors, doing a boost/fuel compensation map depending on the type of MAP sensor you have, then rescaling the fuel map. It is more than just a 5 minute job.
I wish I was on my way to 600awhp. How ever Kansas hasn't been good for me and my gsx. Money's tight and USAA totaled my car due to a slight fender bender. So according to adjuster the front bumper cover cost 1400.00 lol I got one brand new 75 shipped. Still need an extra 300$ and I'll be driving it again.
lol, ya you dont see to many with that collor scheem, i get complements all the time on it, people tell me the white looks aggresive, and elegant at the same time, by all means if you like it do it.
Ya i hardly ever see any other GSX's! i met a couple guys on here that have gsx's ae there always down for meets and stuff like that, so we should all meet up sometime and go to a meet or something
