Finally i get to start working on it again! i have gotten the body, and the panels back on the chassis, hood clearance is great, everything has lined up just like factory, aluminum work and lines will be next on the to-do list. as always, comments are welcome and i would like some input.

My brother took his welder back for a few days, so i have some spare time. figured i would take apart the chassis from the sub frames and get it prepped for the final leg of the tubing build. i have a few more welds to do on the whole thing, along with a few smaller gussets here and there, and two small braces behind the seat bar, but other than that, and the core support, this is what she will look...

well, i got my kirkley aluminum seat in yesterday afternoon. thing looks killer! i took it home, positioned it in the car, and i realized that it is a bit smaller than the mockup seat i had, so this means no secondary cage because my head does not go past the main hoop! so stoked to find this out, means less weight, less clutter to work around, and looks oh so much better. i also get to lower my steering...

well, we aquired a 99 eclipse rs in the shop earlier this week. i took the foot feeds off it for the car. brake, clutch, and gas pedals with master cylinders are all sepperate, unlike the 1g's are. this will work perfectly for my project. i took them home last night and tacked them in place. they will work with some modding. the brake and clutch pedals both jog to the right quite a bit, and i do not...

***this fuel cell and battery box setup is just temporary, i will end up cross bracing under the area, then using aluminum sheeting for the floor. also, i know i need straps for the cell per manufacturers directions***
