    No, it's not absolutely necessary. You can make basic adjustments with the MAFT box itself for basic sized fuel injectors and what not. To have more control over the adjustment and airflow curve of the sensor you might want to look into getting a SAFC.

    If you have larger than stock injectors you will want to look at getting a SAFC or DSMlink because the settings in the MAFT box might not be as close as they should be. Unless you bought the MAFT Gen II. The Gen II will act just like a SAFC to control the fuel ouput of the injectors.

    hey bro was just seeing if you could help me out here. ok, i just installed a 3"gm maf and a maft o my 98 gst. is it necessary to get a SAFC or a DSMlink. what do you think or recommend?

Today sucked!

As some of you know I am in the loss prevention field for a well known retailer. My main focus is to monitoring, detaining, apprehending and prosecuting shoplifters as well as associates. We review short cash, refunds, and do monthly store safety inspections. Normally this is not a big deal. This means I'm in charge of a million dollar camera system. This is really cool...
