Ok so about a week ago I was driving with my A/c on and all of the sudden the car just stopped blowing air out of the vents. However when I'm on the freeways and don't have the air circulating the vent manage to blow out a bit of cool air which of course goes away as soon as I slow down.
I did some looking around on the internet to try and find out what could have caused this and came to a conclusion it was the blower motor that went out, but now i can't find where exactly the blower motor is on my car. I have a 1997 Eclipse Rs.
If anyone knows where it is, or has a better theory as to what went out please help cause so-cal summer heat is unforgiving haha

It's the blower motor, its located by the glove box. Just behind it actually.

I had this problem with my 97 eclipse gs, it wasn't a bad blower motor, it was a bad fuse, but the fuse can tend to come lose, and sometime i have to put pressure on the fuse box underneath the driver side, and it will work fine, i'm pretty sure mine is just a short though, i would try looking at that and trying that before paying all the for a blower motor

I will check the fuse first before messing with the blower motor. The blower motor is right behind the glove box under the dash.

Check your fuse first! Blower is under passenger dash, Pull out your glove box and take a look, your will become very familiar with this area If that is what is wrong. I did a heater core in my 2gb talon, and let me tell you I don't ever want to see this part of the car again. Headache!

Also check resistor. Your electronics were made by Chrysler and Mitsu, conclusion shady things happened back in these times!
