Lol yeah, with my motor still missing a few key parts it'd be hard for me to do anything in the GSX. Hopefully UPS comes through for me very soon, I'm getting tired of waiting. The VR4 is close though...

Well, my tensioner broke so I'm doing a timing belt change. Pullys, tensioner, cam seals, crank seals, water pump, the works.

I'm looking at buying a 90 RS Laser turbo, 5-speed with rebuilt engine and a new 16g turbo. The guy will take $900 cash for it. He claims it is a good running car but you know how that goes. I'm going to look at it next week. I don't know a whole lot about the 1g's. What are your thoughts on this car?

Well if it's it decent shape mechanically that's an alright price. Whether it's up to par is based on your standards, so make sure you check it out thoroughly first. Turbo cars are fun but only when you take care of them lol!

Oh and btw...AWD>FWD...just saying.

It has rust on the driver side fender and needs some new hoses. Looks pretty decent. He says $800 bucks now. I think I will get it. Yeah I love awd, I've owned a 90 gsx in the past. I loved that car and always wanted it back. I could settle for fwd for $800.

Rust sucks. I'd fix that ASAP if it's fixable, if it's not....I wouldn't buy it.

I'd say I could replace the fender and that would take care of the rust. I'll be sure to check everywhere else.

I decided against buying it. It was leaking oil from what looked to the rear main seal. Timing belt was rubbing on something. I had a bad feeling about this one.
