Hello, I just put a new 3" turbo back exhaust on and after a day of driving I already notice carbon buildup on my muffler. I know we run rich from the factory but is this normal so soon?

Carbon is the by product when the fuel is burned just like diesels have the black smoke. Anytime you see a car with black smoke coming out the exhaust it is very very rich.

Or no cat installed.

yeah i don't have a cat, i don't have black smoke, just carbon/soot developing on the inside of the muffler.

Thanks again
