I'd like to announce a unique contest - we're looking for great DSM photos that could be made into t-shirt designs. I'm not talking about your run-of-the-mill photos you see everywhere (including our gallery), with a DSM sitting in a parking lot or in a driveway after it's been washed. I'm looking for some creative photos that bring about interest and excitement - not just for the car in the photo, but the photo itself.
The photos used to create those designs were full color. The affects used to make them look the way they do were applied after the fact. We're not looking for photos with affects applied, just supply a killer photo that we can use to create the design.
Some ideas of what we're looking for:
- Drag strip launches
- Cars in motion
- Interesting close-up shots of interior/exterior
- Immaculate built-up engine shots
- Racing shots
- DSM on jackstands
What we're offering in return - if your photo is chosen for a t-shirt design, we'll send you out a free t-shirt and a subscription to your choice of magazines found here: Discount Car Magazine Subscriptions - DSMtuners
We plan on coming up with a new design every 1-3 months. You can mail your photos to my username @ dsmtuners.com. Please only send high resolution photos (300 dpi) taken with a quality camera. You should zip the photo using the WinZip utility before you send it. If you have questions about photo resolution, please ask here before you send the photos. We don't want to sift through a ton of photos that don't meet the criteria like we did for the calendars this year.

is there anyway you still have the photos ive sent you before, even the ones that were in the 2008 calendar? Till I get my car running I dont have any new pics for ya lol.

I'll go through the calendar photos again to see if there are any we can use. I know a good number of them were low resolution. But I'll check again.

thats me in the 90. I dont know if the guy that took the photos will let you have them if you need em. I wish it was the 91 thats a much better looking than the black.
