I just installed my Tein S Tech Springs with Tokico Illuminas on my 2G GST. It sits pretty well but it rubs occasionally in the rear while driving and quite a bit going around turns. The top outside of the tire is hitting the fenders. I have the Illuminas set to Level 3 in the front and I changed the rear from level 4 to level 5 with little difference in the rubbing. Its not really a big deal when Im the only one in the dar but when there is a passenger the rubbing is pretty bad and I can even smell the burnt rubber. Any suggestions? I am considering the possibility of flaring the rear fenders to see if that would help but Im not sure how much that would cost.

Edit: Im running 17 in Enkei wheels with 235/45ZR17 Yokohama Parada ES100s

hey i had the same problem with 18s on a 2g. i had eibach sportline springs and the car is very low. it was rubbing so all i did was took a rubber mallet and took the wheels off and bang the metal piece where its rubbing. and bend it until all of it is bent up. after that i didnt have any more problems. my wheels are 18x8.5 with a 38mm offset. and i use 225/40/18 tires all around. thanks cuong hope this helps you

where did you order your springs? i like the drop, here is the problem
if you go more then 17x8 with 225 tires..it will rub the rear fender..you will need to take the bat yes the baseball bat! get someone to help you ... stick the bat under let someone push the car slowlly,, and roll the fender in :) ..good luck..
