ok i hav a 97 eclipse and am about to purchase some suspension components. im wantin tha tein s. tech springs......i was just wondering what else i should get with those. what kind of a camber kit if any and what kind of shocks. keep in mind im kind of on a budget so itd be good if tha stuf wasnt extremely expensive. thanks for any help.:dsm:

well theres alot of things to consider. do u care about tire wear, or comfort when driving? if so, u wont want to drop the car very low, because with a lower car u need stiffer struts which sacrifice ride comfort. depending on how low u wish to drop the car will determine if u will need a camber kit or not. for shocks, lean towards tokico illuminas. they are fully adjustable, and most commonly thrown on a 2g. since ur on a budget, i would lean away from Tein products. lean towards a set of eibach springs, they are proven, legit and work great. the streetline kit provides a rather low ride height and the pro kit is a more moderate level. i would get a less expensive set of springs, so u have more money for better struts. anyways, throw up some more info about how u want the car to handle, sit, and ride.

i want the tein s tech springs cuz those are a well known brand and they are cheaper than both eibach and intrax. the s tech springs only cost 150. i want my car to sit low but at tha same time i want a comfortable ride because with this car i am more into the show aspect then racing. how low can i drop my car without having to worry bout getting a camber kit? how much are the tokico illuminas? thanks for tha help man.:dsm:

check into H&R Race if you wanna go for the slammed look, like 2.5" drop, my car is about 3" off the ground on a good day, usually lower than that, hard with speed bumps, but DAMN handles awesome, a little stiff, and even on my stock shocks :)() its not too bad of a ride, and it looks hella nice, no wheel gap, and i only have 17s, check my gallery if you wanna see how low it is, or my sig pic will prolly give ya a good idea ;) good luck bro
