hi if i get a coilover kit with the springs and perches all that stuff and using the stock shocks do i need a camber kit on a 1.5" drop??

Also what about these coil over brands:

1.Max speed
2. cosmos racing
3. matrix coil over

i would highly recommend one. i lowered my 2g eclipse with a coilover kit and put a camber on it and forgot to go get it aligned and i burned through tires in less than a month. camber kit saves tires.

which coilover did you got and how much did you lower your car?
i just think in 1 1.5" drop

i have nuespeed lowering springs and they will drop my car around an inch and a half do i need camber kit and new struts?

yes yes yes ......i used nuespeed i think. they were cheaper ones. didnt want to spend too much money cuz im broke. i lowered it about 2 inches i think. im not too sure. but get a camber kit and get the car aligned once its all done.

Every car is a bit different, but the most you can lower an Eclipse w/ out needing a camber kit is about 1-1.4 inches. Mine is lowered about 1.2-1.3 and I JUST meet factory camber specs. Anymore and you'll risk faster tire wear.

yeah i found this out

lower it 2 inches no camber no alignment= 2 month old tires worn down in less then 3 weeks.

damn thats where all my money went

If you only want to lower your car 1.5" just buy some eibach springs.
Yes, you want to get the camber checked and fixed if it is out of spec.
After you do the install go directly to a place and get the car aligned...ask them for a print-out of the alignment so you can see if the camber is out of spec and they will do it or at least tell you how far out of spec it is.

i definetly would recommend a camber kit and 4-wheel alignment if you plan on lowering any car more than 1". up to an inch, i'd say just an alignment would be enough. do your self a favor...save some money in the long run and buy a camber kit right away.....otherwise you're gonna be buying new tires every 6 months. goodluck!
