I did some searching on here and found plenty about the front lower control arms, but not as much on the front uppers. I know people have found some issues with the Dorman lowers, but I believe Dorman also chimmed in on the convo and sent a revised part with a better weld as well. I've also seen people have issues with the OEM uppers separating (breaking off) at the ball joint. I would like to go with Dormans since they have a better price point and I don't see the advantage in paying over $100/side for OEM because of the previously mentioned failure people have experienced and that they don't have serviceable ball joints. Anyone used Dorman (or any other aftermarket) upper control arms? What's your experience?

What about the Napa brand? They're almost as pricey as the OEM ones, but what is Moog quality compared to Napa parts?

As far as I know, my car still has the OEM upper arms. 273k miles on them. The bushings and ball joint have been replaced numerous times, but the arm itself is still the same one. Unless they are really rusty, I don't see how people are having failures.

I don't remember the exact circumstances surrounding the failures, but one in particular was posted with pics on this forum. The tab that the ball joint is mounted in snapped clean off the control arm. No bueno...
