Can anyone help answer my two questions:
1. I have a 97 Eclipse NT and I am in the process of lowering it with a 2 inch drop and 18's on it. Is a camber kit necessary?

2. If it is necessary, can anyone point me in the correct direciton of which one to get and where to get if from.

Thanks!

get the specialty products camber kits probably from 1.5 deg to 3 deg correction. youll definitely need it for the front and the rear or else your car will look like some giant stepped in it " / \ " not to mention really bad tire wear

here's what i got:
18 inch tsw revo's with 225/40/18 tires
spring springs 2 inch drop
kyb struts
no front camber kit
$15 rear camber mod

so as you see, i too am a 2gnt and did not need a front camber kit. but do get an allignment rigth away or else you'll be kissing those tires good bye. let me know if you need any help.
later

Any time you change ride height, an alignment is a must. The biggest thing to worry about is the change in toe - it will shred your tires in no time if you don't correct for it.

Camber correction is important too, but bad camber will wear the tires much more slowly than bad toe (over weeks or months, instead of days). I take it you're not racing autocross with those 18 inchers ;-) So you will probaby want to install camber adjusters to save those expensive tires. Do it now, or you'll be paying for two alignments (it'll need to be done again when the adjusters are installed). Do it right the first time - save time, money and headaches later.

Specialty Products makes good camber adjusters (the ones Eibach sells are made by Specialty Products). http://www.specprod.com/HOME.HTML I've heard nothing good about Ingalls - I'd stay away from them.
