ITR Replacement

In regards to the inner tie rod retaining washer (the one that has a tab and is bent around the ITR to hold it in place).

Do I just exert more elbow grease to overcome it upon removal? Does it get bent out of shape and will have have to do anything to it to reinstall ITR or do I just pop it on the end and torque to spec?

if replacing the tie rods they SHOULD come with the new washers, so just put a little more to it and it will break free, even if re using the washer you can bend the ears back in place.
